Investment: New lacquering line

16 january 2013 - Profils Systemes News

Profils Systèmes has spent close to a million euros on its new lacquering line and state-of-the-art baking oven.

During the summer, Profils Systèmes took advantage of the 3-week shutdown to install a new lacquering booth along with a state-of-the-art baking oven.

The line features a new ventilation system, simplification of the colour change procedure, and reduced gas and electricity consumption, all smiled upon by the French government's energy and environment agency ADEME and by the Languedoc Roussillon region, who have jointly subsidized the project. PROFILS SYSTÈMES, THE LANGUEDOC MANUFACTURER

Profils Systèmes has spent the last 8 months implementing a series of large-scale projects aimed at optimizing its production processes in order to better serve its customers.

Many projects are under way, and one of the biggest bridges was crossed this summer with the acquisition and installation of new lacquering booths and a state-of-the-art baking oven. These investments, amounting to almost a million euros, represent a very important phase in the Profils Systèmes continual improvement initiative, notable benefits being optimization of delivery times for any given colour and thus a positive impact on service levels.

In the front line of manufacturing in Languedoc Roussillon, Profils Systèmes has an industrial platform of 31,000m² as well as 12,000m² of logistics space following its 2003 expansion.
