Profils Systèmes approved to use the “Made in France” label

24 november 2013 - Product News

Profils Systèmes, the French specialist in aluminium sections for joinery, has just received Customs approval for the use of the “Made in France” mark for its “Aluminium sections for joinery ranges, gates, and patio covers” products, which is a testimony to its know-how. For the occasion, the company has created and registered two new logos:   Fabrication Française and Made in France.

Profils Systèmes has designed, developed, and manufactured profiled aluminium sections in France since 1987. Its 43,000 square metre production and logistics site is located in Baillargues in the French southern department of the Hérault, and this is where all the production processes are carried out: research & development, extrusion, seal insertion, lacquering, bending to shape, and all the support services.

Highlighting the French origin of our aluminium sections gives us a competitive edge

At a time when aluminium joinery from the world over is flooding the French market, Profils Systèmes is, as always, banking on innovation, performance, quality, respect for the environment, and “Made in France”.

As a means of helping its approved aluminium joinery installers ward off competition from cheap products, the “Made in France” mark gives a competitive edge: French people like buying goods that are made in France, thereby helping preserve national employment—even more so in these times of economic upheaval.

Keeping production French generates jobs in France

Profils Systèmes employs over 400 people in France's Hérault department, in the historically under-industrialized region of Languedoc-Roussillon. “We must continue investing in modern production tooling, maintain our industrial activity, and develop employment.” That’s our daily challenge according to Christophe Derré, the founding director of Profils Systèmes.

Profils Systèmes exports worldwide

Profils Systèmes is expanding its international sales. “When conquering new markets, French know-how is always seen as a hallmark of seriousness and quality,” says Profils Systèmes Export Manager Pascal Rostoll. After appearances at trade shows in India last December and in Brazil very recently, the innovation and design that go into Profils Systèmes joinery have certainly not gone unnoticed.
