Taos aluminum hinged shutter

The Taos aluminum profile range is made for hinged (1, 2, 3 or 4 leaves) or sliding shutters. You can adapt this series for new and renovation projects thanks to accessories easy to use. A thermal insulation full blade version has the BBC labels and is elegible for credit tax.

The shutter with  thermal insulation blades allows obtaining a R of 0.24 m².K/W (BEB3.9.0056.2 of CEBTP).

Technical details

Vents

Tubular with a 62*33 mm section for Persian or combination shutter, 27 mm for full shutters. 

Assembly

Frames and vents are assembled using pin or crimped corner cleats.

All of these mounting components are made of aluminum and/or stainless steel. 

Frame

It is offered as an option, but greatly simplifies installation.
Tubular, 61 mm thick with a 30 mm exterior cover and sealing gasket.

  • On the fixed frame
  • On screwed portrait hinged
  • On chemically sealed hinges

Accessories and fastenings

All fastening are of stainless steel . 

Latching

Latching is ensured by aluminum hinges and counter-hinges, the bar serving as the counter hinge in the case of full shutters with cross bars.

Locking

Latching options :

  • By an aluminum or composite catch
  • By an aluminum bolt bracket
