Profils Systèmes keeps on investing: €13.5 million for a second extrusion press at its baillargues plant

01 october 2021 - Profils Systemes News

Profils Systèmes parent group Corialis, backed by CVC Capital Partners and by Astorg, its majority shareholder since July, 2021, underlines its confidence in Profils Systèmes with the go ahead for the 13.5-million euro second slice of an investment programme for which this French entity has received a grant of almost one million euros from France’s economic restart stimulus.

The 8-million euro first slice of the investment, released at the end of 2018, was used to construct a 5,000m2 building accommodating a new vertical powdercoat line. The new unit was commissioned in February, 2020 and directly created 40 on-site jobs.

This new 13.5-million euro slice will be assigned to a further extension of 5,000m2 to the industrial building, bringing the total area to over 53,000m2, and to the installation of a second extrusion press for its aluminium sections, all on the existing Baillargues site.

That now adds up to almost 22 million euros invested over 3 years in order to accompany Profils Systèmes’ growth, whose 2021 target is +25% volume based on a dynamic post-pandemic home improvement market and the growing use of Aluminium in architectural construction thanks to its many environmental qualities, not the least being infinite recyclability.

These investments will provide a capacity increase for the extrusion and powder coating of sections used in its product range for the home and office building markets, leading to increased customer satisfaction and the creation of over 60 new jobs.

Profils Systèmes is delighted with this excellent news for many reasons:
