Advent International acquires the Corialis Group

29 october 2014 - Profils Systemes News

Advent International, one of the main international capital investment, has finalized the buy-out of Profils Systèmes’ parent group Corialis (Core Innovative Aluminium Integrated Solutions) from Sagard and Ergon, with Chairman Johan Verstrepen and his management team.

Corialis was founded in 1984 in Belgium, where its head office is still located. It is one of today’s leading European manufacturers of aluminium sections, supplied to companies of all sizes who assemble and install windows, doors, verandahs, and curtain walls for the new-build and renovation markets. Corialis has developed an integrated model that groups all the manufacturing and logistics stages on a single site.

With 1,600 employees spread across the four countries who represent its main outlets (Belgium, France, Poland, and the UK) the group is already internationally established and sells its products in a total of over 20 countries.

Now, with backing from Advent International, Corialis aims to pursue its development in the countries where the group is already present and to roll out its integrated model to other European markets, either via organic growth or by acquisition.

Michael Ogrinz, speaking from Advent International in Paris :

« We are very happy to throw our support behind the management team in the further pursuit of its development. Aluminium is increasingly becoming the choice material for windows, doors, and verandahs in Europe. We also want to accompany Corialis’s continuing globalization, in line with the growth strategy already implemented successfully in France, Poland, and the United Kingdom. »
